HTC One (M8) smartphone with 5.00-inch 1080x1920 display powered by 2.5GHz processor alongside 2GB RAM and 4-Ultrapixel rear camera.
M  in “M8” stands for? It’s “metal”. There’s actually 20% more metal in the One (M8) than the original one, and while the original One looked rather like a plastic phone with metal panels, the One (M8) feels as if it's been hewn from a single piece of cool, smooth aluminium.

Battery - 2800mAh

Dimensions/weight - 142x72.5x8.1mm/145g

Samsung Galaxy S5 is a big, wide phone but that new texture combines with Note 3-style metal-look ridges to make this the grippiest Galaxy yet. It’s just as light as the S4 (OK, 15g heavier) and is also more solidly built that its predecessor, which was prone to the odd creak.

It’s still full HD resolution, so there's a slight drop to 432ppi from the S4’s 441ppi. The S5's is a very impressive smartphone snapper.

Sony Xperia Z2

Price: 42,200

Screen: 5.2in 1920x1080 Triluminous display (424ppi)

Processor: 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801

 Dimensions: 146.8 x 73.3 x 8.2mm

 Weight: 163g

The Xperia Z2 makes almost zero compromises - on screen, sound, camera or battery life. Z2 is more than just a made-over Z1, thanks to a new 5.2in screen which Sony has cleverly engineered into a thinner and lighter body.

The 20.7MP sensor in the camera is also slightly bigger, capable of shooting 4K video and bristling with new features.

For a smartphone camera, the Z2 is capable of taking downright incredible photos.

Google Nexus 5

Price: 25,739

Operating system: Android 4.4 (KitKat)

Processor: 2.2.6GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800

RAM: 2GB

Screen: 4.95in IPS 1920x1080 display (445ppi)

Camera: 8MP rear, 1.3MP front

Storage: 16GB/32GB (non expandable)

Battery: 2300 mAh

Dimensions: 69.17 x 137.84 x 8.59mm

Weight: 130g

Wireless connectivity: Dual-band WiFi (2.4G/5G), 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac; NFC (Android Beam); Bluetooth 4.0; wireless charging

Sensors: GPS; gyroscope; accelerometer; compass; proximity/ambient light

The Nexus 5 we’ve got a 5in 1080p handset (built by LG) with Snapdragon 800 brains, an 8MP camera and 4G. What’s more, it runs the cleverest mobile OS we’ve ever seen in KitKat, complete with Nexus 5-only tricks.
The combination of the processor du jour, Qualcomm’s beastly Snapdragon 800 clocked at 2.26GHz, together with 2GB of RAM, Adreno 330 graphics and improvements to the touchscreen responsiveness of the Nexus makes this hands-down the smoothest Android experience we’ve ever encountered.

iPhone 5s

Price: 36,000

Operating System: iOS 7

Processor: 64-bit Apple A7 /w M7 motion coprocessor

RAM: undisclosed

Screen: 4in Retina display with 1136x640 resolution (326ppi)

Camera:  8MP rear, 1.2MP front

Storage: 16/32GB/64GB (not expandable)

Data: 4G LTE

Battery: undisclosed

Dimensions/weight: 123.8 x 58.6 x 7.6mm/112g
The IPHONE 5s has the same Retina Display as the 5, and the 4in diagonal measurement and 1136x640 resolution are both low in comparison to the gargantuan, full HD screens of the latest 1080p Android flagships. This is a genuine disappointment. There’s clearly an appetite for such big-screen devices, and we might just have gone crazy for a 5in IPHONE.
The 5s is just as perfectly weighted, just as comfortable in the hand, and just as uncompromisingly detailed.

Sony Xperia Z1 Compact

Price: 26,603

Operating System: Android OS, v4.3 (Jelly Bean)

RAM: undisclosed

Screen:  4.3in

Camera: 20.7MP

Storage:  Micro SD up to 64GB

Battery: undisclosed

Dimensions:  127x64.9x9.533 (5.0x2.56x0.37in)

Weight: 137g (4.83oz)
Sony Xperia Z1 promises great things from its 4.3in screen, Snapdragon-powered performance, 20.7MP camera and battery-enhancing Stamina mode.
Z1 Compact has a Snapdragon 800 processor, 4G, NFC – the list goes on. The Z1 Compact is the first smaller-sized Android powerhouse that really does tick of all of our boxes.

Motorola Moto G

Price: 12,999
Operating System: Android 4.4.3 (Kikkat)

Processor: 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 w/ quad-core Cortex-A7

RAM: 1GB

Screen: 4.5in with 1280 x 720 resolution (326ppi)

Camera: 5MP rear, 1.3MP front

Storage: 8/16GB (not expandable)

Data: 3G

Battery: 2070mAh

Dimensions/weight: 129.9 x 65.9 x 11.6 mm/143g
The Moto G looks and feels like a less athletic iteration of the Moto X.

The Moto G's 4.5in 720p 326ppi display is, quite frankly, untouchable at this price point.

The Moto G handles demanding games such as Real Racing 3 without any hiccups. Again, this goes above and beyond the sort of expectation that the sticker price suggests.
